Borrowed from MoneyTree, Can’t Pay—What Happens Now?

How are you…
So I borrowed about $700 from MoneyTree, and now I’m in a situation where I can’t pay it back. What’s gonna happen if I don’t? I’m kinda freaking out because I’m not sure what they can actually do. Like, could they repossess my car or something?
I’ve never been in this position before, so I have no idea what to expect. Any advice or insight on what they can legally do would be super helpful.

Best wishes…

Ignoring the debt will simply exacerbate the circumstances. Through conversing with MoneyTree :disappointed: and investigating your choices, it might be possible to prevent additional financial difficulties.

You may be able to better manage your finances if you combine all of your loans into one loan with a reduced interest rate.

It’s critical to get in touch with MoneyTree right away if you’re having trouble making payments . Maybe you can collaborate with them to come up with a solution.

Your credit score :astonished: may be negatively impacted by not repaying a debt. It may be more challenging to get credit in the future if credit bureaus get reports of late payments or default.

They might get in touch with you personally to go over repayment options. Letters or other written correspondence may be sent to you to remind you of the debt.
