Can I Refund My Deposit After Loan Issues with Caribbean Medical School?

Hello people…

I’m in a tough spot and need some advice. I applied to a Caribbean medical school and was accepted, so I paid the deposit to secure my spot. From the beginning, I made it clear that I needed a student loan, and they assured me that there would be funding available.

However, when the semester started, I was informed that there is no loan available for me and that I have to pay the entire tuition fee upfront. This is not something I can manage financially at the moment.

Given this situation, is there a way for me to get a refund of my deposit? I’m worried about losing the money I’ve already paid and would appreciate any guidance on how to handle this issue.

Check the school’s refund policy and request a refund due to funding issues.

This is precisely how a deposit is defined. After making the deposit payment, you can choose to go there or cancel and forfeit your money. If you don’t show up, they won’t follow you around and murder you—they’ll just take your money.
