Can My Student Loans Be Forgiven? Need Some Advice!

Good morning…
I’m in a bit of a tough situation and could use some advice. I went to a college that shut down in 2024 because of money issues. I was working on my associate’s degree, but the school closed before I could finish.
Now, the loan company is saying I still owe them money for my student loans. Is there any way I can get this debt canceled since the school closed? I owe about $5,000.
Has anyone been in a similar spot? Is there a process to follow for getting my loans forgiven? I’d really appreciate any advice!

Best wishes…
