Good afternoon…
I’m looking into foreign national loans and wondering if anyone knows of good lenders or resources to learn more about these programs. Trying to figure out what my options are, but finding info has been kinda tricky.
If you’ve had any experience with these loans or know of any solid programs, I’d really appreciate the help!
Best regards…
It is advised that foreign nationals thinking about buying real estate in the United States speak with a mortgage provider that specializes in lending to foreign nationals. They are able to guide you through the application procedure and offer specific guidance.
A non-resident alien or non-U.S. citizen is required to be the borrower.
In order to repay the loan, the borrower must show that they have enough income.
A strong credit history is often required.
A passport or other acceptable form of identification is required from the borrower.
Foreign national loans normally do not require a Social Security number, in contrast to regular U.S. mortgages.

When opposed to U.S . citizens, foreign national borrowers may have greater down payment requirements. By doing this, the danger of lending to non-residents is reduced.
