How Long Does It Take for Paid Student Loans to Be Removed from Credit Report?

Hi guys…

I have a question about student loans and credit reports. My student loans were forgiven in May, but they still show up on my credit report. How long does it typically take for them to be removed after they’ve been paid off?

Also, I’m a bit worried about the future. If a student loan was forgiven, can it be reversed by the next president?

When student loans are forgiven, it can take some time for the changes to reflect on your credit report. Normally, it may take around seven months for the loan servicers to update your credit report. However, if it takes longer, you might want to contact your loan servicer to ensure they have reported the forgiveness correctly.
