Good evening,
I’m trying to figure out if my IDR one-time adjustment, which was supposed to be done by September 1st, actually went through.
How do we know if our account has been adjusted? I haven’t seen any updates or signs of it anywhere. The only way I can check is by looking at the payment counters manually, but I’m not sure how accurate that is. I really wish Student Aid was clearer about this.
Has anyone managed to see their one-time adjustment? If so, how did you find out the details?
Your help will be appreciated…
The IDR One-Time Adjustment is an automatic procedure by the U.S. Department of Education (ED) to review and update payment counts for eligible borrowers in income-driven repayment (IDR) plans
Use your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID to log into your account.
After logging in, you should be able to view your updated payment count and check if you’re eligible for forgiveness.

The Department of Education is processing the adjustments, so it might take a while for your status to be updated.
