Paid off ECSI loan, now getting bill for same amount from another ECSI servicer?

Alright, so I got tired of paying $44.54 per month on my Perkins loan, so two months ago, I decided to pay off the remaining $2,000. The loan was serviced by Heartland ECSI. After I paid it off, I started getting bills from ECSI for the same amount. I figured they were sent before my payment was processed, so I ignored them since the loan was paid off.

Today, I received another bill stating I’m past due and owe an additional $44.54 for the past two months, and it still shows the same balance I paid off two months ago.

I checked the servicer’s website, where I’ve been paying the bill for the past seven years, and it shows a zero balance and no amount due. The student loans government site just redirects me to the servicer that started sending me bills last month.

I have no idea what’s going on. No one is open on weekends, so I have to wait until Monday to start making calls. Did Heartland take my money and run after transferring the loan to another servicer?
