Hi all…I’m looking for information and reviews about Ed Financial Services. If anyone here has experience with them, I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts. How is their customer service? Are they transparent about fees and terms? What are their loan options like, and how flexible are they with repayment plans? Any insights or personal experiences would be incredibly helpful as I consider using their services.
I forgot who I had before, but I switched to Edfinancial about six months ago. It’s not worth emailing them because it took over a month for them to reply, and their response had incorrect information. If you need to get in touch with them, you have to call. Wait times can vary from no wait to several hours. They’re not great, but I’m not sure any loan service provider is. I’d say they’re average. It was really frustrating trying to get into the SAVE plan; it took months, and they just kept telling me to wait. I’m still waiting.
You will see negative posts about all loan servicers because many people are unhappy with their loans. Plus, you can’t switch servicers, so even if one is worse than the others, you can’t change it.
Personally, I haven’t had any problems with them.

The next month, they didn’t save my auto-pay settings, so my payment didn’t go through on time. Now, I want to see if I’m still set up for auto-pay, but I don’t want to spend 3637 minutes on hold or wait months for an email response again.
