Using my social media following as a way to stand out to realtors?

Hallo

I just got my real estate license and started at a local brokerage—super pumped to get into the industry for the long haul! Before this, I was doing social media full-time (still am, kind of). My content’s all about finance and investing, and I’ve built up a solid following.
So, I’m wondering—do you think it’s a good move to bring up my social media following when I’m networking with realtors? I’m thinking it could help me stand out and maybe offer them value by sharing tips on growing their online presence. But on the flip side, I don’t want to come across as too cocky or anything .
What do you all think? Would you play up the social media angle to build connections in real estate, or keep it more low-key?

Best wishes…

Post about community events, farmers’ markets, or local festivals. Give recommendations for your favorite places to dine, shop, or explore. Engage in local social media groups or online discussion boards.

Post about your dream house, your preferred neighborhood, or your desired way of life. Take pictures and films of your current living area or your ideal home. :unamused: Encourage conversation by soliciting suggestions or viewpoints from your followers.

Use hashtags associated with your city, area, or particular house types (e.g., #KenyanRealEstate, #NairobiHomes). :unamused:: Use hashtags relevant to your profession, such as #RealEstateAgent, #HomeBuyer, or #PropertySearch.

Use social media to get in touch with local agents.
Participate in discussions by leaving comments on their postings, posing queries, or sending pertinent articles. Attend networking events or real estate conferences.

The secret is consistency. You can develop a strong online presence and draw in potential realtors by consistently publishing interesting content and communicating with your fans.
