I was wondering which student loan servicer offers the greatest customer service and payment management as I was about to combine my loans.
Edfinancial, Aidvantage, MOHELA, or Nelnet are my options.
I am not going after PSLF. 2019 graduate, but due to the COVID pause, I have not paid yet.

When I graduated in 2019, I faced a similar choice for managing my student loans. From my experience, Nelnet stood out for its user-friendly website and responsive customer service, making it easier to manage payments and access information. MOHELA also received positive feedback for its customer support and flexible payment options. Edfinancial and Aidvantage had mixed reviews, with some users reporting difficulties with customer service. Given that youβre not pursuing PSLF, Nelnet or MOHELA might be the better choices for you.

When it comes to federal student loan servicers, it is important to understand that the U.S. Department of Education assigns one to you when you first take out your federal student loan. Normally, borrowers have had complaints with all loan servicers, and unfortunately, none of them are particularly great.
But taking into account your suggestions, EdFinancial Services is the most reliable. They used to be my servicer when I was a student and their services were top-notch.
When it comes to student loan servicers, experiences can vary widely among borrowers. Before making your final decision, it might be useful to contact each servicer to ask specific questions about their services, repayment plans and any other concerns you have. This can give you a sense of their customer service quality firsthand.
Online, Iβve read that Nelnet is among the finest ones. But, be prepared to wait more than two hours on hold if you call them. Thus, I would advise against using Nelnet.
