Does anyone have experience or insights on Stratus Financial? I’m considering using them to finance the rest of my flight school education. They look promising on paper, but I know that doesn’t always tell the full story.
Even though poor services are frequently discussed, they are nearly always associated with some sort of IBR or other alternative plan. It would be frustrating if overpayments were utilized in ways that weren’t ideal. Anyhow.
I recently set up autopay to pay the regular plan’s 10-year rate. Not an issue for ten years. According to the amortization schedule, the debt was fully repaid. Nothing unexpected. No issues.
The same holds true for every complete autopay payment completed. Who the servicer is actually doesn’t matter as long as you pay in full.
